More About Me

     Aloha and welcome, my name is Omra and I want to share a little bit about myself, my path, and my journey on becoming a healer.

      I was born and raised in Sterling, VA for the first 18 years of my life. I always was in tune with the spirit world, seeing visions, auras, and knowing things about people before they would tell me. I always believed that these visionary worlds were as real as the physical. I studied meditation, hypnotherapy, and was on a quest to find people who understood these places as much as myself. I found art to be one of my main outlets for attempting to show people these worlds that I experienced.

     At 18, I decided to go travel, got a school bus and refurbished it as a mobile home. I had a group of my best friends, all musicians and on a similar quest, to find ourselves and our place in the world. I traveled around the continental US for about two years, camping, exploring, making great friends, discovering my values in life, and learning a lot of new arts and crafts to make my way. 

     I ended up coming to Hawaii in 1995. Im still here as of today. I met an amazing healer, Beatrix Phleiderer, and she quickly became my mentor. She taught a healing modality called TARA, and I had experienced healing miracles with this woman. In those first years, I got my Reiki Masters, studied Lomi Lomi, Massage, Nutrition and Cleansing, and had found my way to the Native American Church, where I experienced Sweat Lodge and Song circles as a new way of life. I lived very close to nature, made my own yurt, and lived with a daily fire to cook by. I also had a son,Aeron, who was born in that first year. That changed everything, and really got me to be much more present and grounded. I also started painting and selling my work, winning awards and getting published.

    Around the age of 30, I discovered Shamanic practice, and met Hank Wesselman and Jill Kirkendall. This had all the answers I had been searching for for so long. I immersed myself in the practices, drum trances, where to go in the "other worlds" and how to bring information back from those places for my community. I studied with Sandra Ingerman, Soul Retrieval, and started having more clients and people asking for healing work. 

    At 31, I met my current husband, Sky Kubby, and a few years later, I gave birth to my second child, a daughter, Star. At that time I had been employing myself with my artwork, doing markets and shows, as well as my music, singer songwriting, and playing local shows with my band. Everything shifted with a second child, and I no longer had time to paint, so I started a clothing line. I also created an oracle deck The Visions Oracle, with all my lifes work of paintings in one card deck. I started doing more psychic readings and developing my visionary gifts into more practical ways of sharing with my community. I worked on "psychic hotlines" and started advertising on social media. 

     And now, here I am, 30 years later, still practicing Shamanism and Ceremony as my main practice, sharing my psychic readings, and energy healing modalities. I specialize in Mediumship and Ancestral healing, Hypnotherapy,  as well as reading and scanning energy fields for insights and information in the energy field that is ready to be shifted and transmuted into newer, more flowing and clear energy. We install these new "codes" into your DNA and Nervous (Electrical) system, leaving you free to create the life you are meant to be living, attract that soulmate, perfect job, etc...and align with the highest version of yourself that you can be!
